The snR30-U17 clan contains the RNA families SNORA73 and snR30. Homology between these families has been established in the published literature [1,2]. Researchers at the human snoRNA database (snoRNABase) have established that the following human and S. cerevisiae snoRNAs target modifications on orthologous positions of the ribosome: SNORA73 and snR30 [3].
